CHARACTER INFORMATION
Character Name: Siffrin
Assigned Nickname: The Wanderer
Age: Mid to late twenties
Canon: In Stars And Time
Canon point: Post-game
Character Information: wiki here

The wiki's biography section only covers pre-game for some reason, so as for the events of the game:

Siffrin accompanies his party to the town of Dormont and, after spending a night there, they finally enter Dormont's House of Change to face the King. Very early in their exploration of the House, Siffrin is killed by a trap and loops back in time to the day before back in Dormont, where he meets Loop and learns that he's stuck in a timeloop. Resolving to make use of it to help his friends get to the King and achieve victory, he spends a number of loops finding the way through the House and fighting the King until they finally win – only to end up looping back again anyway.

Realizing that winning isn't enough to end the loops, Siffrin gets closer with all his friends and faces the King again, only to loop back once more and find all that progress with everyone reset. Siffrin spends a great deal longer stuck in the timeloop, investigating what could be causing it while his mental health deteriorates. He learns about Wishcraft, how someone's wish likely caused all this, and about his shared origins with the King, but all avenues still lead to looping back.

Eventually, he ends up nuking all his relationships with his friends and sneaks off early to enter the House alone. Siffrin makes it through the House and challenges the King on his own, nearly ending up frozen in time forever, but is saved thanks to the timely arrival of his friends who manage to reverse the King's timestop on him instead of just defeating him. They proceed to the top of the House where they find reality itself cracking under the strain of the wish. Siffrin loses his shit at the thought of his friends going home and leaving him alone again, and is confronted by his friends until he admits to having wished to stay with them. With the rest of the party agreeing that they all also want to keep traveling together rather than going their separate ways after their quest's end, the timeloop is finally broken. Siffrin returns to Dormont amidst all the celebration to have one last (violent) encounter with Loop before rejoining his friends to properly close the book on their quest and begin their new journey together.

Personality:
What is your character's most outstanding personality trait, and why?
Siffrin's struggle to open up emotionally, even to his closest friends, is pretty much his defining feature and the source of his most major struggles. It takes literally months being trapped in a timeloop and the near-destruction of reality itself to get him to just talk to his friends about how he feels. He much prefers listening to other people talk without having to contribute much himself, and tends to deflect with humor when pressed for his own input on serious matters. As he's happy to listen to his friends' personal problems and loves getting to know them better, the issue seems to be entirely a him thing, hesitant to burden others with his struggles and anxious about them thinking less of him if they knew more.

What would make the character happiest? What is their ultimate goal?
Siffrin is a simple person. Literally all they want is to get to stay with their little found family even after the quest that brought them all together ends. They wish for it so hard they literally cause a timeloop and nearly break reality. It outranks even the deep longing for the home they can't remember. Fortunately for him, he finally got to achieve that goal. Unfortunately, that was right before being whisked away to this lab, so he'll be extra devastated to be stuck here and willing to do absolutely anything to get back home to his friends.

If they had to sacrifice their own life to save someone else, would they do it? Why, or why not? Where do they draw the line?
They absolutely would, in a heartbeat. Siffrin was disconcertingly self-sacrificial even before being trapped in a timeloop fucked up their sense of consequence and self-preservation. He lost his eye protecting a kid, and his lack of care for his own life comes up in little ways all the time, from relief that it was only him that died the first time he looped back, to joking about it being okay for him to die in an explosion as long as he's the only casualty. There doesn't seem to be a point where they'd draw a line at all, especially after the timelooping.

What was the darkest point of your character's life?
Several hours before the canonpoint he's drawn from, when Siffrin lashed out at his friends and torched all his interpersonal relationships in his attempt to rush things along. His mental and emotional state is already deeply fucked up by this point, and it's the last straw that sends him running off into the House alone to try soloing the final boss in a desperate, futile attempt to escape the loop. During that fight, he's briefly trapped in a nightmare of sorts that digs into all his insecurities about how his friends see him, saying they never want to see him again, that they hate being around him, that he's not even a real person, etc.

Choose five horror-themed songs to create a playlist for your character, and detail why each song resonates with them.
In Hell We Live, Lament (Mili) - The most straightforward choice in this playlist, as the song seems to be about time travel/a timeloop and all the associated struggles and regrets.
Control (Halsey) - A song for Siffrin's self-loathing and feelings of inhumanity at his lowest point, and the monster he inadvertently becomes to his friends as he stops seeing them as real people and stops caring about the consequences of his actions.
ECHO (Gumi) - In the most literal sense, Siffrin comes from a monochrome setting after someone in the past made a wish that somehow eliminated color, which makes the lyrics oddly appropriate. Beyond that, though, it calls to mind Siffrin's struggle to understand why he's trapped in the timeloop, the way he has to literally face himself in multiple ways, and the way he burns bridges with all his friends in his final loop.
I Got No Time (Caleb Hyles) - This one feels very reminiscent of Siffrin's time stuck in the House of Dormont (despite being a Five Nights At Freddie's song of all things). It deals with the same feelings of hopeless, inescapable repetition and worsening mental state.
Happy Face (Jagwar Twin) - Evocative of Siffrin's strategy for dealing with the timeloops, which is to pretend that everything is fine and keep anyone from finding out exactly what he's dealing with even as it breaks him down mentally and emotionally.

Roommates?: I'd prefer two roommates if possible! Siffrin is slow to warm up to people and not very inclined to make new friends here, so he needs as much interaction forced upon him as possible.
